TEXAS DEMOLITION DERBY SERIES

 

Our goal for this series is to find out who the BEST derby driver in Texas really is. We hope to renew the popularity of derbys, for the drivers, the race tracks, the public, and interest some new drivers. We hope to make it a lot of fun for everyone!!!!

 

At this time we do not have an exact number of derbys that will be in the season, most tracks are still working on their schedules, we will have at least one a month, sometimes two a month, however we do realize it takes time to build a car and we don’t want to overwhelm you.

 

Let me be clear here, you DO NOT have to be a registered driver to compete in any of the derbys, however to receive points or qualify for the double money night or Championship you will have to be registered. And it will be ran like any other series, EVERY registered driver who competes will receive points for that derby. Points will be awarded as follows.

Pay-outs will be as follows-

1ST $1,000.00

2ND $300.00

3RD $200.00

 

At mid season, we will have a double points, double money night, but you WILL have to be a registered driver to qualify for the double money, any driver who places that is not a registered driver will receive the normal pay out money.

 

At the end of the season we will have a Championship derby, with double pay. To qualify for this derby you need to be a registered driver who placed in the top three in any of the previous series derbys. After the season is over we will have an awards banquet where we will give out trophies for the top ten points drivers, and Rookie of the year, and maybe some other special trophies.

 

Registration for the series is $100.00. Entry fees for the derbys will be separate. We also have a web site at www.TexasDemoDerbySeries.com where you can keep up to date on all the happenings that we know about in the derby world, even derbys not in our series. There’s even a page where we will put your picture and some info about you. SO LETS DERBY!!!!
