Pacecar
New technology. This is one trick piece of machinery... can you imagine the engineering/computer programing that went into its design... NickHolt
I can't believe those guys borrowed my tube bender! At least they haven't figured out how I make all that invisible tubing. I suppose next someone will steal my secret method of making lighter than air chassis from pure racer methane... What's this world coming to?? jwmbishop
Extrusion benders for solid material have been out a while - I did the maint on one for reinforcing steel back in the 80s - whats new (within last ten years) about it is the ability to handle tubing with .001 precision! traction and slippage always effects the exact dimensions and the new technology allows them to monitor the running inches close enough to actually be exact, make it repeatable and maintain inside diameter all the way through (way more so than mandrel bends). jwmbishop
If you mean is my head full of normally worthless and mundane trivia? Then yea unfortunately most of the time - but occasionally quite useful. Especially in school when people paid me to lean to the side and slouch during tests.
