direct-flo
What started out as a dream has become reality Jay Carley envisioned a racecar that was both affordable and exciting to drive. What he came up with was a tube chassis and fiberglass-bodied monster. The first 4 cylinder series born in Texas that utilizes a 2.4 liter ECOTEC GM power plant. On the engine dyno, they found 179.4 HP with 169 ft lb torque. At 1880 lbs with car and driver, this race car is going to be both fun and fast. The plans are for this series to race with NASA and SCCA on road course tracks all over the country. The first race will be at Texas World Speedway on the last weekend in April. Then again the following weekend at Texas Motor Speedway competing with SCCA during a double national event. Jay
All men dream: but not equally. Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds, wake in the day to find that it is vanity; but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they act their dream with open eyes, to make it possible. T.E. Lawrence Thanks for posting this Tom. The car is yet only half the dream..............but the series I hope that will follow, the other half.
