NickHolt Posted August 4, 2004 Report Share Posted August 4, 2004 TPS’s next race – August 7 at Thunder Hill Raceway San Antonio, Texas -The Texas Pro Sedans move well into the second half of their 29th consecutive season at Thunder Hill Raceway on Saturday night August 7. Four earlier Texas Pro Sedan series races have been held this year in the 2004 season at Thunder Hill Raceway. The TPS event will consist of 2 Qualifying Heat Races at about 7:00pm. A 20 Lap Feature Race will be the first main event of the race program and will take the green flag after the 8:30pm intermission. Approximately 18 entrys are expected to compete. Included in the race entry list are the three drivers who have won all of the races. All three have also led the TPS Championship Point standings during the three quarters of the 2004 Texas Pro Sedans racing season: > Donnie Moore of Hutto in the George Merrell #70 VW Scirocco (4 wins, leads TPS points). > Bill LaBarge of Bryan, Texas in the #27 BMW (2 wins, 7 points out of lead). > Lalo Leal from Corpus Christi, driving his #26 Ford Mustang (2 wins, 3rd place in TPS points). A complete program of THR Late Model, Street Stock, Hobby Stock, Grand Stock and Legends car racing is scheduled on the racing program at the 3/8 mile asphalt track in Kyle, Texas.
