Speedracer99 Posted January 26, 2012 Report Share Posted January 26, 2012 on a hobby stock or i-stock what is the best pulley ratio to help lower cooling temperatures??? 1:1 or 20% to 30% reduction pulleys? and a big four blade fan or 6 blade fan and what diameter? run any restrictors in thermostat housing? double or triple pass radiator? what is best coolant additive? Truck99 Posted January 26, 2012 Report Share Posted January 26, 2012 1:1 pulleys, a good air-tight air duct in front of the radiator, good shroud around the fan. 4-blade fan No restrictor - water pump designed for racing Distilled water with water wetter additive Forget the triple pass radiator - single or double.
