broc56
Has Shady Oaks considered having a E Mod class like the one starting at at South Texas Speedway? There is alot of old limited laying around that could be used for the young racers moving up.

Danielsen Motorsports
It may not be today due to it being ground breaking but it will most likely have a huge interest by years end and something every track will have to consider. BobbyJack
ITS NOT JUST FOR YOUNG RACERS BUT ALSO RACERS WHO DONT HAVE THE BUDGET OR EXPERIENCE FOR SPORT MODS. THEY WILL DISCOURAGE OVERQUAKFIED DRIVERS FROM RACING. NO CHERRY PICKIN. THIS IS MY TAKE AND NOT OFFICIAL STS STATEMENT BOBBY JACK

Dirtracer82
E mod will just be a sport mod next year, whats the point in renaming the class that started a few years back
bvfd_gordo
E mod will just be a sport mod next year, whats the point in renaming the class that started a few years back The class is NOT going that out of hand. The track and racers got to together to create this class because of the high cost of the sportmod class. This class is built for the low budget racers that want to run a sportmod. The class is only a couple months old and there are at least 10 cars being built.
Danielsen Motorsports
I like everything about the class except the exhaust manifolds. I think that is a chance to cheat is all that is. People that have alittle money can get away with some stuff there. Plus the fact not too many tech man are interested in handling them after a race so inspections of them will be few and far. Along with the fact cheaters can get away with cheating if its only a visual inspection. I think a simple header from Schoenfeld with a specific part number would be easy to police period. Kinda hard to acid dip a set of headers.
BobbyJack
WELL I MAY BE THE TECH MAN ON SOME NIGHTS, I ADVISE U NOT TO CHEAT. BOBBY JACK
South Texas Speedway
The exhaust was a difficult thing but with a header it would be a struggle to get one set to fit every chassis and it would be a struggle to get the mandatory 36" of 2" pipe on the end of some headers just thinking out loud
Danielsen Motorsports
Yea I kinda figured that was one area that was hard to figure out. I still think the class is going to be awesome as long as there is always a big difference between them and the existing limited class.
