Texas TracGroup to Announce Plans for Tracks

Austin, Texas, January 3, 2003 – Texas TracGroup, LLC today announced that on February 25th it will hold a forum in Austin, Texas for the purpose of formally announcing its plans to construct the first 4 of a planned 8 NASCAR quality Auto Racing Facilities in the State of Texas.

 

All race tracks will be asphalt and all are currently in the engineering stage. Some of the tracks will be 5/8 mile in length and some will be 3/4 mile in length. All are being built to accommodate pit stop racing. Sites for the first 4 tracks have been selected and the communities for those initial tracks will be announced at the February 25th meeting.

 

On the ‘panel’ at the February 25th event will be Wally Dallenbach, Jr. (NBC Winston Cup Commentator and Race Driver) who is consulting race event director to TracGroup for this development along with other key people who can answer questions and address issues of interest to the Texas auto racing market.

 

Texas race teams are encouraged to attend this event to gain understanding about the tracks, the sanctioning body, types of racecars, purse monies, etc. However, reservations are required. Each racing team may send 2 representatives to the meeting. Confirmation of attendance and names of attendees must be submitted to TracGroup by January 20, 2003 at email address: Mike@texstrat.com or by postal mail to the above address.
