SOUTH TEXAS SPORT MOD AND MODIFIED CHAMPIONSHIP

I-37 Raceway hosted the first South Texas Sport Mod and Modified Championship on Saturday night with 18 Sport Mods and 13 Modifieds participating in the time trials and feature races.

 

The winner of the Sport Mod race was Johnny Torres with Jamie Campbell taking the win in the Modified class. Congratulations to both drivers. The Hard Charger winner was Newton Barta, Jr.

 

Thanks to all that participated as well as Frank and Greg for the idea. And as always, thanks to Cassie for making phone calls and always promoting the track.
