With 3 races to go, it could be any one of 3 drivers at the top. #07 Megan Smith, Lyndon Kirk (Driving multiple karts this season) and #21 Jason Marshall are only seperated by 2 points as we enter the penultimum round at Houston Motorsports Park October 15th. Megan Smith Lead the series early in the season until motor issues made her fall into the clutches of Lyndon Kirk. But Rookie of the Year Contender, Jason Marshall, getting a late start on the season has come on strong as of late. Pulling himself into the championship chase. It is going to go down to the wire for these 3 racers!!! Who will be able to hold off the other two? Will Jason Marshall win both Rookie of the year and the Championship? It has never been done in the NASKART Pro Racing Series. Will Lyndon Kirk, putting his new Pro Kart Distributors kart on the track win his 2nd NASKART Pro Racing Series Championship, backing up his 2009 championship and be the 2nd 2-time champion in the series with Mike Steinman? Or will fan favorite, Megan Smith's desire to be the first female champion in the series shine through and come on strong the last 3 races to prove she can run with the big boys?!?! The other tight battle is for 4th overall between Team Rockhard Racing's Father/Son Duo of Kaleb Kreis #88 and Marty Kreis #29 and 2010 Champion Mike Steinman #1. Only 1 point separates these 3 drivers as well with all 3 having strong finishes lately. With 2 oval races and 1 road course race left this season...it will get wild!! Find out how it will play out on October 15th at HMP when all these drivers battle for position and points and make their last charges to the front for the season!
