The NASKART Pro Racing Series Points tighten up!

Recommended Posts

With the season in its last leg of the season, the championship is still up for grabs!

Megan Smith reclaimed the points lead this weekend with a 4th place finish and Lyndon Kirk finishing 10th in the #27. These 2 are at the top with only 2 points separating them!! So it looks like this year's championship will go to the wire!

Matt McDade is only 15 points out of the lead, so if these 2 falter he is in position to pounce and take the points lead. But it will be tough for him after this weekends motor problems.

The big points battle is from 4th to 7th! With only 2 points separating Kaleb Kreis, Marty Kreis, Jason Marshall and 2010 champion Mike Steinman. These guys are only 9 to 11 points out of 3rd place and battling each other hard every week to gain on the leaders.

Lyndon Kirk has the most wins so far this season with 6 wins while last year's champion, Mike Steinman, is yet to win a race this season.

Matt McDade leads the Rookie-of-of-the Year points, But Jason Marshall is closing in fast and has 2 wins in his rookie season!

With 2 Doulbe Header weekends coming up at Houston Motorsports Park in October and a make up race in Katy, all the positions are up for grabs!!
