i37DirtTrackMama Posted September 23, 2011 Report Share Posted September 23, 2011 I-37 Raceway is hosting a South Texas Sport Mod Championship race on Saturday, October 1st. This will be a NON-SANCTIONED race inviting all sport mods. We will have a practice night on September 30th with practice from 5:00-10:00 PM. The concession stand will be open with hot dogs, hamburgers, chips, and sodas for sale. Overnight camping is welcome. Admission for racers and car is $25.00 and pit passes are $15.00 and fan stands are free for practice night. Saturday night payout will be: 1. $600.00 2. $500.00 3. $400.00 4. $300.00 5. $200.00 Remaining payouts will be announced as sponsorship money is confirmed. Mains will be determined by time trials with the top 12-14 to A Main and remaining to B Main. We will be running IMCA rules with the exception of headers and body fins. IMCA stamped Hoosier 500 and Hoosier 500H tires will be allowed. Siping and regrooving of original grooves will also be allowed. Entry fee is $50.00 for car and driver with pit passes $25.00.
