As a reminder, awards recipients are only eligible if they paid us and registered into the shootout series and series points will be awarded to those registered in the series. Stephan will post the final points this afternoon as well. We wanted, as always, to make sure we got things as correct as possible so we don't like sorting out all the information at night when it is late. $100 Pole Award from Opeila Mechanical - Donny Horelka #14 B Main winners getting $25 each sponsored by Treasure Island Fantasy Sports: Johnny Torres #94 and Matt Farris #89F (paid these guys at the track as this was easy to sort out) $100 7th Place Finisher Award from Dynamic Race Craft - AJ Wernette #37 $50 Hard Charger Award from Dynamic Race Craft - Johnny Torres (started 15th and finished 4th inproving his position 11 places.. racerguy8811 Posted September 19, 2011 Report Share Posted September 19, 2011 Last night was one of the best nights I have ever had. The car ran perfect in the time trials for me to set a great time. And to start on the outside in the LAST A main event in the Shootout was very great to earn. Thanks to Bobby Jack ya we rubbed a bit but that is racing. And in tech after the race he came to me and said man I wanna hand it to you, you ran me alot cleaner than I ran you. But AJ what happened was racing except that little incident coming out of 4. But instead I held it. texana55 Posted September 19, 2011 Author Report Share Posted September 19, 2011 Also, just a point of interest. This was the closest spread on time trials for the field among the three events. A couple of cars had troubles mechanically which caused them not to get a realistic time, but there were 28 cars that ran two full laps on time trials. The spread from 1st to 28th was just at 1.5 seconds. 28 cars with a 1.5 second spread is really amazing. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
