Even more impressive was the 2nd place finish of Regan Garner. Regan was driving the recently purchased (by Jason Marshal) # 17 Green Machine. You may remember the Green Machine from the 2009 season when Richard Gonzales drove it to victory many times. This was only Regan's 2nd Pro Kart Race and he was smooth and calculated, waiting for the last lap to make the inside pass cleanly on the veteran and 2010 Series champion, Mike Steinman. to take the 2nd spot. You now join an elite group of series racers that have accomplished this feat. Lyndon Kirk and Megan Smith are the only 2 others to have ever won with the winner's weight the following race. Reagan, awesome job of racing!!! Nice move on the last lap. That is a veteran's move for sure. I have the utmost respect for you and look forward to racing wheel to wheel with many more times!!!
