n2racing2 Posted August 15, 2011 Report Share Posted August 15, 2011 Saturday Night saw a new winner in the NASKART Pro Racing Series powered by Royal Purple as Jason Marshall in his AFFORDABLE GOLF CARS #21 took his 1st official win of the season and his 1st official NASKART win!!! It was a hard fought battle all race long as the first half of the race he was hounded by points leader Megan Smith #07 til the Competition Yellow and towards the end of the race Matt McDade, who ended up 2nd was all over his rear bumper but couldn't find a way around him. Great job Jason!!! His win also ended the 3-win winning streak of Lyndon Kirk who still finished 3rd. Lyndon Kirk also set a new qualifying record for the NASKART Pro Racing Series with a 17.972!!! That is the first time any NASKART has broke into the 17's in a Green, White Chedkered Qualifying!!! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Thank you Mike for the kudos on the track record. Hard to believe we are so slow without the draft. Lack of wind was probably the biggest factor in that run.
