Wayne Walker
I don't have my Dad's from '71-'73 but I do have the official rules from Pan American, and the Nascar rule book from 1973.
elliottfan
Look what I found! Nick did you remember Charlie Turner? He drove one of the VW Bugs from a place in Austin called the Bug Shoppe, once or twice at Pan American in 75. Charlie told me a funny story, that his VW racer had twin webers on it, when rules allowed only one carb. He said he was never inspected or caught. Name doesn't ring a bell right away, but, hey, at my age not many bells ring anymore. LOL Twin Webers would have been the setup for the Mexican Road Races and I'm not too sure that they were illegal on a bug that year. Nick
