TRP Posted June 14, 2011 Report Share Posted June 14, 2011 Just got a message earlier from a well know racer from this area who is coming to the track this weekend. He is planning on bringing a Sport Mod and Late Model. This guy has won several races at this track and has raced all over the country. He competed in the USMTS series, IMCA events too (I believe), and is now running a Late Model too. He won the big dirt track race at Texas Motor Speedway in the fall last year too! Can you guess who it is? Come on out this Saturday night and watch some of the best dirt track racing action in the Coastal Bend region. We always enjoy seeing Steve Jr, so it'll be good to see him run both cars this weekend. Been enjoying seeing the late model group's slow but steady growth at Texana, and it'll be good to see Steve give the front runner a run for his money..
