tqj3 Posted April 13, 2003 Report Share Posted April 13, 2003 Release: April 12, 2003 Hellmund Qualifies Suzuki Motorcycles and ATVs Pontiac Grand Prix Third for NASCAR Winston West "Orleans 222" Las Vegas, Nevada -- Austin's NASCAR driver C. T. Hellmund continued his success in NASCAR's Grand National Division Winston West Series by qualifying the Suzuki Motorcycles and ATVs Pontiac Grand Prix third for this weekends Winston West "Orleans 222" at "The Bullring in Las Vegas" here on Saturday behind Jim Inglebright and Scott Gaylord and one spot ahead of fellow rookie of the year contender Scott Lynch. Hellmund started 19th in this race last year after an error on his qualifying run but finished the race in third place behind winner Austin Cameron. Cameron will also start behind Hellmund in the Orleans 222, taking sixth spot on the grid. Though he won the first Winston West race he ran and finished seventh in the first race this season at Phoenix International Raceway, Hellmund still qualifies for rookie of the year honors in 2003. ### T.
