ZZZBrahmaBull
I hope this is the right place to post this question.Got a 2002 Dodge 1 Ton 4X4.Just got it back from Midas doing a brake job.Noticed a few times the transmission be shifting 3rd-4th-3rd-4th-3rd- 4th then 4th-5th.It never did that until now.Only 60K on my truck.Anything I need to be concerned about?Tranny oil flushed?Or whats up? jwmbishop
My Dad's Dodge was hunting overdrive and they reflashed the computer - fixed it.

scopx
Have a E40D that "hunts" between 3-4 when cold and "loafing." As is old, minimal computer control, and high mileage(200K+), do not lean on it at shift points. After it warms up, no problem. Also run type F fluid which has higher coefficient of friction (less slippage.)
