Danielsen Motorsports Posted May 25, 2011 Report Share Posted May 25, 2011 The point system puts a great deal of attention towards drivers that finish races in the upper 3rd of the starting field but should keep anyone finishing races in contention for a well deserved Top 10 result in total points. All 3 events will reward points on heat races, time trials and features. In the event a B Main or Last Chance Race is ran no points are awarded except for any driver who does not qualify to the main event. 20 points will be awarded to any driver that takes the green but doesnt qualify through the B Main or Last Chance Race. All drivers draw for their starting position for heat race or for time trial. All drivers who finish 1st and 2nd in heat races will redraw for feature starting position. As of right now Texana Raceway Park will have time trials which replaces the heat races and awards points based on time trial results. Both Shady Oaks Speedway and I37 Raceway will chose what they prefer, running heat races or feature lineup based on time trials. Texana uses transponders which makes this very simple, quick and easy. We will announce what I37 and SOS decide to do.
