NeilTPS Posted June 22, 2004 Report Share Posted June 22, 2004 I-37 Speedway – Friday & Sunday - June 25 & 27 Pleasanton, Texas - This weekend, I-37 Speedway will feature two special racing events on Friday night June 25 and Sunday afternoon, June 27. Also, as initiated last week, I-37 Speedway on Friday will host 30 United States servicemen who were wounded in Iraq. The military personnel are patients at Brooke Army Medical Center and will be brought to I-37 Speedway by Army bus. On Friday, June 25, Gates open at 4:00pm. The racing program starts at 8:30pm. On Friday night the I-37 Speedway regular racing program will be presented: IMCA Modifieds…Limited Late Model…Pure Stocks...and Train Races On Sunday, June 27, Gates open at 11:00am. The racing program begins at 2:00pm. The Sunday afternoon I-37 Speedway special racing program will feature: IMCA Modifieds…IMCA “I” Stocks…and the Texas Outlaw Modifieds Heat and Feature Races will be held on each race date for each classification. I-37 Speedway is a quarter mile oval dirt track located on the east side I-37 exactly 30 miles south of the Interstate 37 and Loop 410 interchange. Racing fans from San Antonio, Corpus Christi and other South Texas areas should take exit # 104 (Leal Road) proceed south on the east frontage road and follow the signs to I-37 Speedway.
