Sprints to Open Golden Triangle Race Season on Friday

Beaumont, Texas (February 28, 2011) - Golden Triangle Raceway Park gates will swing open this Friday, March 4, for the first race of the 2011 season. Feature attraction at the show will be the amazing American Sprint Car Series. ASCS Gulf South sprint promoter, Keith Johnson, says he expects around fifty cars to take part in the event which will offer regional and national points to the drivers.

Also performing on opening night will be local favorites in the Limited Modified, Street Stock, Hobby Stock and Jr. Mini Stock divisions. Pit gates open at 4:00 p.m. with the grandstand gate opening at 6 p.m. Grandstand admission for this special event is $15 for fans 12 years old and up, children 6 to 11 years old are $5 and kids 5 and under are free.

 

On Saturday, March 5, the new go-kart track built at the Golden Triangle facility will also have its grand opening. For more information about the races, rules, or up-coming events log on to www.gtrpbmt.com or call 409-752-7200.

 

Golden Triangle Raceway Park is located on W. Hwy. 90 between Beaumont and China, Texas. It’s always the place for family fun and fast lane entertainment.
