It was a dominant car in the early to mid 60 time frame at the 1st Pan American located off Austin Highway.

That car was owned by Adolph Zuehl, and crewed by Buddy Simon.

After Zuehl parked the car, it sat in a pasture for years; then Adolph JR restored to to the way it looks in your picture. I believe the restoration was done almost 20 years ago now.

Zuehl JR, who lives near China Grove, shows it now and then.
