NickHolt Posted February 17, 2011 Report Share Posted February 17, 2011 There is much speculation in Formula 1 circles that the season opening F1 event scheduled for March 13 in Bahrain may get canceled because of the political unrest in that small - but strategically important to the West - island just off the coast of Saudi Arabia. The F1 folks says they are confident that the recent uprisings will not prevent the running of their event as scheduled and that they are "monitoring" the situation in Bahrain.
