Thunder Hill to shoot TV commercial during racing program this Saturday

Lights, camera, (racing) action!

Thunder Hill Raceway takes the "next step" in its marketing program this Saturday (June 19) as the track welcomes Seabrook Jones (producer of Seabrook TV) and his crew. The Seabrook TV crew will be at the track in full gear to shoot the new Thunder Hill Raceway television commercial.

"We made a comittment to make things happen at Thunder Hill this year, and this is a very important step," said Brian Callaway, THR co-owner/general manager. "We see the value of having a good TV ad on the air, and we hope to see the benefits from running the TV ad over the next two months."

"We've been working with Heather Watts of W-Media Inc. for a couple months on an aggressive campaign to run a Thunder Hill Raceway TV commercial," said Chuck Licata, THR's Marketing/PR/Media Director. "W-Media is well known in the business of placing ads in prime spots and getting good prices for its clients - and she certainly did that for us with the package we have. We'll have the commercial running during some NEXTEL Cup races and Busch Grand National races, of course, and they'll run during other programs that hit our target demographic of 18-55 year-old adults. The programs run on FOX, NBC, FSN, ESPN, ESPN2 and TNT."

Licata added, "We've been running radio spots since we opened and now we're in a position to take the next step in our marketing of Thunder Hill. The entire THR staff is working hard and we've got one of the best racing programs going - I'll put our Race Night program up against anyone right now. The TV ads should help us not only get more name recognition in the Central Texas area but also bring out some new fans to the race track."

The Thunder Hill Raceway TV ads are scheduled to start running the week of June 28th.

Thunder Hill will host Z-102.3 Night at the track this weekend. There will be live remote cut-ins on Z-102.3 between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m., and the Z-102.3 DJs will battle it out in a Celebrity Race during intermission. Thunder Hill will run a full racing schedule, which includes the A-Line Auto Parts Street Stocks, the Capital City Trade & Technical School Hobby Stocks, the Grand Stocks, the Texas Pro Sedans and the Texas Asphalt Modified Series.
