TRP Posted January 30, 2011 Report Share Posted January 30, 2011 Just wanted to put out an update for the racer's and fans! We are going to start reworking the track soon, 2-3 wks or so. We don't want to start too soon due to weather (mainly rain) washing away the work that we do. We are planning on taking dirt scrapers and move the dirt in the infield and bring it back up to the track. The track will be banked up quite a bit more. We are looking to cut 16-18" off the bottom and adding it to the top bringing the outside edge of the track up about 18" That's about 3 ft of more banking. This will make the track really fast, and with the new dirt, it may offer a little more bite. But I plan on prepping the track like I have for the past season and as long as I have worked the dirt at Texana (except for the dust) . The dirt should be back to its regular consistency and tackiness within the first couple of races. It shouldn't require any drastic chassis changes, shocks, tires, or geometry changes to run.
