NickHolt Posted June 11, 2004 Report Share Posted June 11, 2004 TPS’s next race – June 19 at Thunder Hill Raceway San Antonio, Texas -- The Texas Pro Sedans continue their 29th consecutive season at Thunder Hill Raceway on Saturday night June 19. The race will be the sixth event of the 2004 season schedule for the four cylinder stock cars. Two earlier Texas Pro Sedan series races have been held this season at Thunder Hill raceway. The TPS event will consist of 2 Qualifying Heat Races at about 7:15pm. A 20 Lap Feature Race will take the green flag at approximately 8:30pm. Texas Pro Sedans Series Race and Administrative Director, Neil Upchurch has announced, “The race will be dedicated to the late Bob Thomas of Austin. He died May 19. Thomas was the Crew Chief and was instrumental in four time Champion Bucky Hutchison of Austin winning the TPS title”. A complete program of Texas Asphalt Modifieds, Street Stock, Hobby and Grand Stock car racing and a Fathers Day celebration is scheduled on the racing program at the 3/8 mile asphalt track in Kyle, Texas.
