Speedracer99
What is best width for a ford 9" rear end for hobby stock.... our track requires that you keep the tires within the width of the fenders... no tires hanging out wide some say a 60" will work but i have seen cars with that and tires hang out past fenders... i know wheel offset will factor in as well, but i dont want that to force me to one offset to keep tires inside wheel wells does anyone know the width of the stock metric 7.5 rear end? THANKS for any help
DEEDDUDE
Stock metric rear is 58" flange to flange. Quick performance makes a good one that bolts right in any width you want. I run a 58" w/ 3" offsets and works fine, sometimes the RR will rub the frame rail when I really lean on it; a 1/2" spacer helps.
