jracer98
I have no MSD (or similar) system on my TAMS 2 bbl 355. I just run a Performance Distributors HEI (alone). No tach. Do I have to buy a $335 MSD ignition w/"approved" connectors to race? thanks for any info jay

hray
2725 lbs! .....and only 57% left side. Probably not the best option for mods.
Truck99
2725 lbs! .....and only 57% left side. Probably not the best option for mods. Last year the open motors were 2625 with 56 left. Did open motor cars win any races last year?
jracer98
I hope you are right but the rule is not in the crate section and says "all cars". Guess I'll be re-thinking my decision to run my pro-mod this year whew thought it was just me, I'm trying to get it wrapped up so I can run but I dont own enough lead to get it to 2725 and just don't think it would be competitive at all. Can't afford a crate motor so not sure what to do.
