Asphalt vs. Dirt

How hard and how much work is it to change a car to run from asphalt to dirt and dirt back to asphalt. Other than the windshield, what else is involved. I was just thinking about racing the same car on dirt and asphalt. It would be most likely a camaro. For instance, a car to run Rio Grande Speedway in McAllen and Corpus Christi Motorspeedway in Corpus. Thanks for any info.

Its a LOT of work---------done it saturday morning and afternoon

You change the car completly--ride height-scale it and change most bolt on parts along with tires and diff offset wheels

ABOUT a 7 hr job with 2 guys knowing what they are doing and

thrashing non stop

Know sure if all the work and effort if running dirt one nite and

then pavement the next--especially if have to tow 200 miles one

way after working that hard getting it ready to race and then

there seems to be always the little things that go thru your mind

when towing to the next race "did i forget anything"
