JRfan
Any body know from experience if a 16" wheel from a chevy 2500 will fit a dodge 2500 that came with 17" wheels?
jwmbishop
Not from experience - but I don't believe they will cross. chevy truck is a 5X5 while dodge is a 5x4.5 or 5x5.5 lug pattern
JRfan
I think you missed the part that they are both 2500 series (8lug). But thanks for the reply

racer61
No, I dont believe so. I think the inner diameter of the wheel is different where it centers on the hub
JRfan
I was thinking it might be an issue with rubbing on the rotors and/or drums. But you might be right Cory. I guess I'll just have to break out the Jack and lug wrench and try it
jwmbishop
I see where the wheel people list the same part numer for wheels on both vehicles - except none smaller than 17" on dodge - yet Chevy has 15's listed. I think you will not have enough caliper clearance. If you just spent an hour trying to swap em - youw pwobably wheel mad I didn't post sooner.
