Joe Aramendia is returning home from a successful run at Texas Motor Speedway last weekend. It was a wild ride for Joe Aramendia, from qualifying through to the last lap, as he took 20th place in the O'Reilly 300 at the Texas Motor Speedway on March 29th. After hitting the wall in qualifying, Aramendia Motorsports purchased a backup car from Haas Racing as the team's regular #79 backup had to be left behind in San Antonio awaiting repairs. With little time to bring the new car into conformity with AMI's traditional lone star theme, this new #79 hit the track in red, silver and white with a bold outline of the State of Texas on its hood. AMIRACING.com Thousands of spectators from San Antonio traveled to TMS last weekend to view the race.
