bret90
Currently running a camaro supersport with a 16-1 manual box. Track is a 6 degree 1/3 mile. Car washes up slightly on entry and pushes in apex. Driver thinks caster is set at 3.5-1.5 or something close (I will have him verify). What would you guys recommend? Track is very tight, like a smaller martinsville. Driver has Popeye arms. haha
Truck99
Is that 1.5 left, 3.5 right? Couldn't hurt to try 1 left, 4 right and see how he likes it. That could be a driver control/braking issue also.

Another problem is steering wheel play. He is only running one heim about 12" off the wheel. Steering wheel moves quite a bit side to side. Might use a firewall bearing or a heim off the box. Mel
Sure Hope ya'll are using power steering. Worth a couple tenths espically at end of the races. Also helps miss wrecks. Mel

Mel Thats what people say. Running a manual box gives better feel. And is 20 lbs lighter way up front (plus pump), one less belt etc Probably a package deal.
