Free Blue Bell ice cream helped fans beat the heat at Red River Speedway on Saturday as they enjoyed a little something extra for the price for admission. USST Trucks, NasKarts, Legends, and Bandeleros were added to the regular racing action that saw Teddy Shrum take the ThunderStock points lead over Michael Ohm.

The USST Trucks races proved where a driver finishes in the Heat race means little for the Feature. Brad Queen of Richardson, Texas came back from a third place finish in the second USST Trucks Heat to finish first in the Feature Race ahead of second place Mark Pinson and third place Buddy Morgan. Pinson had finished fourth in a field of four in the first USST Heat race, while Morgan finished fourth in the second Heat.

Bobby Nettles won the first Heat, but finished seventh in a field of eight in the feature race. James Blanton won the second Heat, but finished last in the feature race. Wichita Falls' own Josh Cournoyer finished second in the first USST Trucks Heat and sixth in the feature race.

After drawing closer to points leader Michael Ohm two weeks ago, Teddy Shrum became the Red River Speedway ThunderStock points leader with wins in both the Heat and Feature races on Saturday. Shrum now sits on top of the field with 2,607 points and a 215 point lead over Ohm. Shrum finished ahead of second place David Dohme in both races on Saturday to take 240 points.

Dale Miller cut into Randy Marston's already slim lead in the Super Stock points standings with wins over the leader in the Heat and Feature races. Marston's second place finishes puts him in first place with 950 points, only 3 points ahead of Miller who now stands at 947.

Cameron Liss gave himself some breathing room on Saturday after seeing Brooks Payne pull to within 172 points in the Charger points standings two weeks ago. After finishing third in the Charger Heat that saw Mike Wright finish first and David Wright come in second, Liss turned the field upside down in the Charger Feature, taking the checkered flag and 200 points while David finished second and Mike finished third. Liss now holds a 409 point lead over Payne with a total of 3,304.

Brandon Pinson of Wichita Falls pulled double duty, switching between USST Trucks and Mod 4. But points leader Debbie Cullar again took the checkered flag in the Mod 4 Feature race after taking first in the Heat to increase her lead in the points standing to more than 1000. Cullar's 3,102 total points puts her 1,005 ahead of second place Matt Rose, who finished third in both the Heat and Feature races.

In Hornet class racing, Ashley Shrum once again took victories in both the Heat and Feature races. Larissa Lewis finished second in both races, with Amanda Shrum and Tyler Kingcade finishing third and fourth.
