Kennedale, Texas (8/12/10) - The Central Frame & Alignment Texas Wing Modified Association (TWMA) will join the 2011 Cowtown Speedway schedule on a regular basis.

Track promoter Bo Rawdon states: “The TWMA group has a chance of real growth if they could offer new teams a guarantee of a weekly racing, and we’re going to give them just that. We anticipate running the TWMA weekly in 2011, with a one week break in their schedule every three to four weeks.”

Rawdon adds: “This will make the only track in the region that will race the Wing Modifieds on a weekly basis, which will give Cowtown fans something special.”

TWMA series president, Rick Poteet, comments: “For decades, Cowtown Speedway has been synonymous with Wing Modified racing, and we’re thrilled that they’ve chose our group to help carry on that tradition.”

The Central Frame & Alignment TWMA division will be racing for $500 to win weekly at Cowtown with special ‘shootout’ events anticipated with the nearby Ark-La-Tex Wing Modified Association. There is also a $50 Hard Charger Award at each TWMA event that will be issued to the driver who advances the most positions in the feature event.

In addition, an optional $25 ‘gamblers’ entry fee will be available to series drivers at each TWMA event in 2011. The highest finishing participating driver at each event will take home the entire ‘gamblers’ bonus pot. For example, if 10 drivers participate, the highest finishing driver in the feature will take home an additional $250.

As an added twist, the previous week’s winner will start at the tail of the feature event, giving fans some added excitement.

It is also anticipated that there will be a few special events for the TMWA at Heart O’ Texas Speedway in Waco for the 2011 season. Information on those events will be announced when they are confirmed.

There have been several inquiries from new teams requesting information on the series. At the series website, www.ihwma.com interested parties will find cars for sale as well as complete rules, contact information, series registration, sponsorship opportunities and much more.
