Sure would be a shame...

 

Reading the Purestock rules... here are the rules i see that "could" be of issue:

3.6a: No aluminum intakes allowed.

3.8: Stock cam for type and year of engine.

3.8a: Engine must pull 15 inches of vacuum @1000 rpm. NO EXCEPTIONS.

3.8b: Hydraulic lift only. No solid lift cams allowed.

3.9a: No exhaust flow devices allowed such as cross piece of H- pipes.

3.9b: No high performance exhaust manifold of any type allowed.

3.9c: No Ram Horn exhaust manifold.

 

4.2: Stock rear end *(not sure if you can use a 9" Ford in Chevy)

lower the air pressure and go racing you will run up front we did it at the end of the race season it was fun!!! They will only let you run a few races there before you have to change the stuff on the car.

TTR73 What all will I have to change? Since you did it you should know exactly.

We only went for one race at the end of last season. So we never made the changes... All we did was lower the tire pressure on the 970's and went with it you would think you wouldnt get grip with those but you do!
