I understand the track is committed to rescheduling the Street Stock Big Money race with the same level of financial commitment as previously posted. Thank you Bruce and Donna for offering this again. Once Ken confirms and posts the official date, we'll know for certain what that is, but on another post he advised he's leaning to July 24th. We will know for sure on the date soon. If it is July 24th for certain, that will be great as it is the annual kids bicycles give-away.

 

I have contacted all of the folks who previously committed to adding on to the July 2nd purse and they are all back in for the reschedule to add their money on top of what the track committed. Galon Mills with Elite Automotive reconfirmed his $100 added to 1st place. Ken is committed to adding $50 to 5th and $50 to 6th. Randy "Bubba" Seals, Stephan Danielsen, and Jason Hammack (local Mac Tools dealer) have all recommitted $100 each for the current $300 combined bonus for the highest averaging driver on a two night deal between Texana and SOS. We'll do this now between Texana on the first week of competition and on the second week at Shady Oaks, once we know the Texana date for certain.

 

And, hot off the press... Team Xtreme has now committed $200 into the purse. They want to layer this somewhere in the purse to some places somewhere after 4th place for a few surprise places, and will have the money in pre-numbered envelopes prior to the feature for Chelle to attach to the regular payouts. In other words, it will be some bonus money for various places. They want to make this fun and keep it a surprise to get some extra money for some selected positions that might not normally see bonus money, because everyone on the track does their best with the equipment they have to work with. It could be some to 7th, could be some to 10th, could be some to 12th, who knows.... The team will confer in the next two weeks to lay it out, but will keep it a surprise to the racers and some folks will be surprised to see extra money attached to their regular pay envelope. The contributors from Team Xtreme pitching in the combined $200 are as follows: Lauren Chamberlain - $25, Brian King - $25, Monty Chamberlain - $50, Butch King - $50, and Chris Shafer - $50
