NeilTPS Posted May 3, 2004 Report Share Posted May 3, 2004 I-37 Continues Price Discounts this Friday Night Pleasanton, Texas - After being rained out for two weeks in a row, I-37 Speedway continues racing on Friday night, May 7 with major price discounts (see discounted prices below). The track has suffered damage from a windstorm, has encountered rain on race days and muddy pits. Repairs have been made. I-37 is ready for racing on May 7 The event, on Friday night May 7, will feature five racing classes: IMCA Modifieds…Limited Late Models… Super Stock…Pure Stock. and for the first time in 2004 – The Texas Dwarf Cars. Heat and Feature Races will be held for each class. A “Powder Puff” race is scheduled. A special “Mothers Day Salute” is planned during the racing program. I-37 Speedway is a quarter mile oval dirt track located on the east side Interstate 37 just 30 miles south of the I-37 – Loop 410 interchange. Racing fans from San Antonio, Corpus Christi and other South Texas areas should take exit # 104 (Leal Road) proceed south on the east frontage road and follow the signs to I-37 Speedway. Gates will open at 2:30pm. The racing program will begin at 8:30pm.
