GREENVILLE, S.C. (May 1, 2004) – Saturday’s Rock 101 150 at Greenville-Pickens Speedway, the third race on the 2004 NASCAR AutoZone Elite Division, Southeast Series schedule, has become the fourth event on the calendar. Due to inclement weather, the Rock 101 150 was postponed until Saturday, June 5. The Rock 101 150 will now follow the Southeast Series’ first visit to Houston (Tex.) Motorsports Park on May 8, and serve as a final short track tune-up before the series’ first superspeedway event of the season – June 11 at the 1.33-mile Nashville Superspeedway.

Series Notes … Jason Hogan, of Cleveland, Ga., is the Southeast Series points leader after recording a runner-up finish April 17 at Music City Motorplex in Nashville, and a win on April 24 at Hickory (N.C.) Motor Speedway. … J.R. Norris, of Mulga, Ala., leads the Auto Meter rookie of the year standings and is tops in Bud Pole qualifying as well. In two events this season, Norris was won both Bud Pole awards. Norris’ performance is already a sharp contrast to last season’s highly competitive Southeast Series time trials – no driver earned more than one Bud Pole qualifying award in 2003. … In two races this season, Bluffton, S.C. driver AJ Frank has recorded two top-10 finishes. … When the series visits Houston Motorsports Park, fans will have two local favorites to cheer – rookies Chris Davidson, of Pearland, Tex., and Robert Richardson, of McKinney, Tex., represent the Lone Star State in this year’s Southeast Series field.
