TAMS to race at THR on June 19

The Texas Asphalt Modified Series is being added to the June 19 racing program at Thunder Hill Raceway.

 

"The Modifieds always put on a great show at Thunder Hill and we want to add them to the June 19th show especially after their first race with us was rained out in April," THR co-owner and promoter Brian Callaway said on Wednesday.

 

TAMS Director Wayne Norrell had some good words for THR as well. "The improvements in the track have made our cars quite a bit faster than last year. I've talked to several of the TAMS drivers who have practiced at the track and they love it."

 

Also on the June 19th schedule are the Texas Pro Sedans, the THR Late Models, the A-line Auto Parts Street Stocks, the Capital City Trade & Technical School Hobby Stocks, the Grand Stocks and a Special Father's Day Celebration.

 

Thunder Hill Raceway is located between Austin and San Marcos near Exit 210 on I35.
