NeilTPS Posted April 27, 2004 Report Share Posted April 27, 2004 I-37 Major Price Discounts this Friday Night Pleasanton, Texas - After being rained out after the first half of the “Fiesta Weekend Double Header” last Friday, I-37 Speedway continues racing on Friday night, April 30 with major price discounts (see discounted special prices below). The track suffered damage from a late Friday windstorm. I-37 Speedway Track Manager Frank Torres said, “Most of the damage to facilities and the electrical system will be repaired by the next race. The next I-37 event will run on schedule”. That event, on Friday night April 30, will feature five racing classes: IMCA Modifieds…Limited Late Models… Super Stock…Pure Stock. and for the first time in 2004 – The South Texas Mini Sprints Heat and Feature Races will be held for each class. I-37 Speedway is a quarter-mile oval dirt track located on the east side Interstate 37 just 30 miles south of the I-37 – Loop 410 interchange. Racing fans from San Antonio, Corpus Christi and other South Texas areas should take exit # 104 (Leal Road) proceed south on the east frontage road and follow the signs to I-37 Speedway. Gates will open at 2:30pm. The racing program will begin at 8:30pm.
