This will be the first trip to the Alamo City for the series this year because their season opening date at SAS in March was postponed due to rain. Houstonian Mike Yale currently is sitting atop the points standings after his thrilling victory in Corpus Christi. San Antonio Speedway is the fastest track on the schedule for the second year series and a favorite of the drivers. Series regulars Jamie Fuller, Lloyd and Allen Alexander were among drivers testing last week in Houston and appear to have their machines ready turning in some very fast times. This race will be a 65-lap event and is scheduled to roll off the line at 7:30 PM. Qualifying for this race will be at 5:15 PM. Also appearing with the Texas Super Racing Series this weekend are the drivers from TPS, ARTS Trucks and the ROMCO Super Late Model Series. The evening of racing is being sponsored by San Antonio based ROMCO Equipment Company. Tickets are only $20.00 general admission and $15.00 for seniors and military. Children 10 to 16 are $10.00 and children 9 and under are free. Gates open at 4:00PM with qualifying beginning at 5:00PM. Racing will start at 7:00PM.
