Deb - Mike Sepich called me right after he called you. By terms of the agreement between SAS & TPS, Mike has coordinated with Robert Mullins for May 1 to be the TPS raindate. The Texas Pro Sedans Series is added to the ROMCO, TSRS, ARTS Series event at San Antonio Speedway on Saturday night, May 1st.

All TPS Owners, Drivers, Officials and Sponsors have been notified by email, FAX and phone this evening.

TPS thanks Mike and Robert for their flexibility and support of TPS's 29th consecutive racing season.

No, it hasn't rained a whole lot . . . yet! But the radar images do not look promising, nor do the forecasts for San Antonio (60%-70% chance of rain). I'm certainly not a weather person, but the satellite loops show thunderstorms coming in from the southwest, along with a front and thunderstorms coming in from the northwest. When they collide, it's supposed to produce quite a bit of rain throughout most of southeast Texas. It looks like almost all of the race tracks are in trouble, with the possible exception of Corpus.

And, as I mentioned in an earlier post, the drainage problem due to construction on Highway 16 is another big factor that was considered in the decision to cancel at San Antonio Speedway.
