Texas Super Racing Series Stars Return to Houston This Weekend

The stars of the Texas Super Racing Series are making final adjustments to

their cars for this Saturday, April 24th, at the beautiful Houston

Motorsports Park. This will be the second stop on this year's circuit for

the series. If the season opener is an indicator for what race fans will

see this year, the race for the championship will be a hotly contested

battle every week.

Houstonian, Mike Yale, currently stands on the top step of the point's race

after winning the season opening race at Corpus Christi Speedway last month.

"We still need to change the gears and a couple of springs," said Yale

about what he still needs to do in preparation for the Houston race. "We

don't have much left to do to be ready for Houston."

With the new racing surface installed last year, Houston Motorsports Park

has become a very fast and competitive track. At last September's Space

City 125, drivers found passing easier than before and gave fans the most

exciting finish in Texas Super Racing Series history with a spectacular

photo finish. "I can't say enough about the Houston track. The Baker

family is outstanding to work with," said Texas Super Racing Series founder,

Mary Ann Naumann, "We are very excited to be back in Houston."

Houston Motorsports Park owner, Graham Baker, has put together a great

evening of racing for fans this weekend. Local classes will begin time

trials at 5:00PM and heat races are set to begin at 6:15PM. For ticket

information please call (281) 458-1972 or visit their web site at

www.houstonmotorsportspark.com. The track is located at 11620 N. Lake

Houston Parkway in Houston.
