Here is the article: Monroe Motor Speedway To Go Up For Sale On March 17th Tracks - 2/3/10 A press release was sent out to media members on the distribution list for Monroe Motor Speedway (LA) on Wednesday stating that the track was going to soon for up for sale. The release states that the Ouachita Parish Sheriff's Office will be selling the track in a month and states that three months ago, the track's investors defaulted on a loan that was taken out to pay for construction of the facility. Speedway Board Member Gus Campbell stated that he is working to try to make a $30,000 payment on the $4.5 Million Dollar loan by BizCapital, but signs have been placed on the track property advertising a March 17th sale.
