Modifieds are back at Altus Speedway!

Recommended Posts

The United States Late Model Association (USLMA) is proud to announce the formation of the 2010 USLMA Modified Series.

Very similar to the "Hot Pepper 40/Salsa 100" event held at the end of the Sandia Motor Speedway season, USLMA will promote modified events that will support the USLMA Late Models whenever they compete.

We have developed a rule set that allows cars from all over the region to compete with very little or no changes, but puts in place limits on money-draining products and ideas that are currently possible in the Modified division.

We have also developed a realistic base purse/pay-off that is enticing for both the racers and track promoters.

The events will be run under USLMA standard race procedure, and the feature events will be 40-75 laps in length.

Technical inspection and registration will be handled by the USLMA officials, as well as tire sales.

Rules and schedules are available at www.uslma.com.

USLMA is currently seeking marketing partners to support the Modified and the Late Model divisions. If you would like to be a part of this spectacular show on wheels, please contact us!
