Big G Smith Posted October 11, 2009 Report Share Posted October 11, 2009 Congratulations to Lyndon Kirk as he wins another NasKart race at the THR Stock Car Spactacular. Winning a NasKart race is never easy and this race was no exception. The lead changed numerous times and Lyndon had to fight for every inch of pavement. Mike Steinman was in the lead at the white flag. Lyndon went high through turns three and four hoping to out motor Steinman to make the pass on the outside. Steinman kept it to the low side to protect from an inside pass. As they came out of four, heading to the checkerd flag, they were side by side. Lyndon then got a big bump from Richard Gonzalez driving the #17. With Richards help, Lyndon drove past Steinman for the win and Richard had the momentum to pass Steinman for 2nd. As usual these guys put on a great show for the fans. After the race a protest wis filed against the #17 for rough driving. No ruling will be made until the NasKart review board is able to look at the video of the race. We will publish the findings after a determination is made. Was a very close race and you got me coming out of 4 with Richards help on the outside. That was a great finish to me!! Way to fight to the finish for the win!
