TPS race schedule changed

A Memo was sent All TPS Members, Officials, Sponsors and Friends of TPS on Thursday morning as follows:

 

Due to heavy rain at Thunderhill Raceway on October 9, all practice and racing on Friday has been cancelled. The four Friday racing classes have been re-scheduled and added to the Saturday, October 10th schedule at THR.

 

Sunny weather is forecast for Saturday

 

The racing schedule has been changed. As it affects the Texas Pro Sedans, the changed schedule follows:

 

9:00am - Pit Gate opens

10:20am - TPS Practice (10:20-10:30am & 12:30-12:40am)

11:30am - TPS Gate Bonus Point Deadline

1:00pm - TPS Drivers Meeting

3:15pm - TPS Qualifying

6:30pm (approximately) - TPS Feature Race (34 laps or 30 minutes)

 

Please note that with a total of 12 classes, parking in the pits will be extremely tight. TPS crews must park their trailers at a maximum of 2 feet between fenders. Also, only tow trucks, trailers and race cars will be allowed in the pits (sorry, no personal vehicles).

 

It is assumed that the infield mud rule may be in force ie: Any car entering the infield at any time may not drive back onto the track. To minimize the transfer of mud to the track surface, a roll-back wrecker will periodically load all race cars from the infield and haul them to the pits.

 

To receive raceday changes , if any, suggest that all TPS entries keep their cell phones on at all times Saturday when traveling to THR.
