storm'71 Posted September 7, 2009 Report Share Posted September 7, 2009 South Texas Speedway is hosting the "Lone Star Outlaw Sprint Series" this coming Saturday (9/12). Was wondering if anyone had information on this series, as I cannot find a website or any other info. The track website states they are 360 Sprints, so I can only assume that these may be ASCS cars running an unsanctioned event on an off weekend. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. BTW...the 30 lap Limited Modified and 20 lap Bomber demo derbies at STS last night (Sunday night) were extremely entertaining. Decent show. Got I-Stock? abc123 Posted September 8, 2009 Report Share Posted September 8, 2009 Storm 71, The lone star sprint series is head up by Wayne Brown, owner of Hot Rod Hill speedway in bryan tx. His number is 979-402-3120. From what i here he is going to mix some injected 360's in with some unlimited carb cars in an effort to get a higher car count. The show will pay 1500 to win and a decent amount to start. I here that he has some of the ASCS regulars are expected to show sat night at sts. For more info please contact Wayne.
