They also take comfort in knowing we are there for their families while they are away. My family and I know this first-hand. In 1990, I was in Desert Storm, in the 60's it was my father in Vietnam, and in WW2, it was my grandfather. My family and I know all too well what is at stake, and we shall keep all the service members in our thoughts and prayers through this conflict and beyond.
