econoLM15 Posted August 20, 2009 Report Share Posted August 20, 2009 IMCA Southern SportMods First place will be worth $700 at the final regional race of the season for IMCA’s Southwest Racing Specialties Southern SportMods. 85 Speedway at Ennis,Tx hosts the Sunday, Sept. 13 show. A minimum of $70 will be paid to make the 20 car feature field. As a designated regional race, the event does not count toward drivers’ first 55-race limit for national points. There is no entry fee and pit passes are $25. Gates to the pit area will open at 5 p.m. and the grandstand opens at 6 p.m. Hot laps are at 7 p.m. with racing to follow. Grandstand admission is $10 for adults and $3 for kids 6-12. Five and under get in free.
